Khanyi Nzukuma

Khanyi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Glacier in January 2018. He is a Rhodes University graduate with an MBA from the North-West University and a PhD from the University of Johannesburg. Khanyi started his career at Sanlam in 1994 as a financial adviser, later serving as Regional General Manager for Sanlam Financial Advisers in Gauteng.

Until his appointment at Glacier, Khanyi was Chief Executive of Momentum Retail, having joined the MMI Group in 2009 as Chief Executive of Momentum Consult.

Johann de Wet

Johann holds a BSc (Actuarial Science) from the Rand Afrikaans University. He has been part of the business since its inception and played an important role in the development and vesting of Glacier as a company, including the design and implementation of the initial product range.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Johann oversees all of Glacier’s key strategic projects and initiatives and the Business Intelligence team.

Werner Lotriet

Werner holds an M.Comm: Human Resources Management: Industrial Psychology from the Rand Afrikaans University and an MBA from the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business. He has acted as an HR Consultant for Sanlam IT, Sanlam Collective Investments, Sanlam Personal Portfolios, Sanlam Trust, Finance and Marketing.

He was appointed Head of HR at Glacier in 2001. In 2009, Werner assumed responsibility for both the national sales and the investment-focused distribution teams. Over time, the scope of his area has expanded to include Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Sales & Distribution Support, Glacier Invest, Glacier Research, Glacier Consulting, Investment Solutions and the Glacier Consulting in Namibia.
