Khanyile Gamago Colin Nzukuma

Khanyi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Glacier in January 2018. He is a Rhodes University graduate with an MBA from the North-West University and a PhD from the University of Johannesburg. Khanyi started his career at Sanlam in 1994 as a financial adviser, later serving as Regional General Manager for Sanlam Financial Advisers in Gauteng.

Until his appointment at Glacier, Khanyi was Chief Executive of Momentum Retail, having joined the MMI Group in 2009 as Chief Executive of Momentum Consult.

Natashja Terblanche

Natashja was appointed Head of Client Services in June 2018. She holds a BCom (Law) degree from UNISA. She is responsible for the Communication Centre, the Investment Administration team and the Operations team.

She was previously the Head of Operations at Glacier and has worked in the financial services industry for over 24 years. Natashja joined Sanlam in 1994 in a temporary position as a data-capturer, but very quickly was offered a permanent position as an administration consultant, and by the age of 22 she led her first team.

Ignatius Duane Hagglund

Ignatius was appointed as Head of Finance in August 2011 and in 2021 was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a chartered accountant (CA) and holds Higher Diplomas in Taxation and International Taxation.

After completing his articles at PWC, he joined the Sanlam group in 2007 as an Investment Principal and thereafter worked in Corporate Finance where he gained experience in valuations and transaction structuring.

In this role he was also exposed to Glacier's business strategy. His key responsibility at Glacier is to lead the finance team and to work closely with the different departments as well as various business units within the Sanlam Group, in developing and implementing the business strategy and strategic initiatives.
